Each tier adds the following: Axe, Hoe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Sword and Spear*.

Piglins are attracted to Netherite-Gold items and will put them in their inventory after inspecting them.
Every tool item can be repaired with the material it's made of. For example: A Netherite-Emerald Pickaxe can be repaired using a Netherite-Emerald Ingot.
On NeoForge and Forge it is possible to enable matching durability bars in the client-side config. This replaces the vanilla durability bars with a colour representing the tool tier the item belongs to.
Pickaxes have a special ability by default: chance on a bonus ore drop!
