Set Up and Manage Waypoints Across Dimensions
Creating Your First Waypoint
Waypoints are custom markers you place on the map to remember important locations. Open your map and navigate to a location you want to mark—your base, a village, a mineshaft entrance, or any spot worth returning to.
Right-click on the map at your desired location to create a waypoint. You'll be prompted to name it and choose a color. Use clear names like "Home Base" or "Nether Portal" so you can identify them quickly later.
Managing Waypoints Across Dimensions
Each dimension (Overworld, Nether, End) maintains its own set of waypoints. When you travel to a different dimension, your waypoints automatically switch to show only markers relevant to that world.
To teleport to a waypoint, open the map and click on the waypoint marker. Confirm the teleport action, and you'll be transported directly to that location—useful for quickly returning home or revisiting important sites.
You can edit waypoint names and colors by right-clicking an existing marker. Delete waypoints you no longer need to keep your map organized. Keep waypoint names descriptive and update them if their purpose changes.
