Villagers Plus PT BR Translation Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why can't I see the Portuguese text after installing the resource pack?
You must set your game language to PT-BR in Minecraft's Language & Accessibility options menu, not just activate the resource pack. The translation only appears when your game language matches the pack's language setting.
What do the new job blocks do and how do I use them?
Each job block corresponds to a new villager profession—place the block in your village and a jobless villager will claim it as their workplace. Once claimed, you can trade with that villager for profession-specific items and services.
How do I trade with an Alchemist villager?
Right-click an Alchemist villager to open their trading interface, where you can exchange items for potions, brewing materials, or other alchemical goods. The specific trades available depend on the villager's experience level.
Can I use this resource pack with other mods that add villagers?
This pack only translates content from the Villagers Plus mod itself, so other mods' custom villagers and items will remain untranslated. It won't conflict with other mods, but you may need separate translation packs for them.
Do I need Forge to use this translation pack?
Yes, this resource pack is designed specifically for the Forge version of Villagers Plus. If you're using a different mod loader, the pack may not work correctly.
What's the difference between this pack and just changing my game language to Portuguese?
Changing your game language to Portuguese only translates vanilla Minecraft content. This resource pack adds translations for all the custom villager jobs, items, and blocks that Villagers Plus introduces.
How do I set up a working village with the new villager stations?
Place job blocks near each other in a village area, ensure jobless villagers are nearby to claim them, and build shelter and farms to support your villagers. Refer to the 'Build a Functional Village With Villagers Plus Stations' guide for detailed layout tips.
Will this resource pack slow down my game or cause lag?
Resource packs have minimal performance impact since they only change textures and text. This translation pack should not cause noticeable lag on any system that runs Minecraft smoothly.
What happens if I uninstall the resource pack—will my village break?
No, uninstalling the pack only removes the Portuguese text and reverts to English. All your villagers, job blocks, and structures remain intact and functional.
Are there any items or features from Villagers Plus that this pack doesn't translate?
This pack provides a complete translation of all custom content from Villagers Plus, including professions, items, blocks, and menus. If you notice untranslated text, check that your game language is set to PT-BR and the pack is active.
