Adjust Star Brightness and Color Intensity
Access Shader Settings
Open the Shader Options menu while in-game. This is typically found in Video Settings under Shaders, then by selecting the shader options button. True Stars Shaders provides adjustable parameters for controlling how prominent the stars appear in your night sky.
Customize Star Appearance
Look for brightness or intensity sliders that control how brightly individual stars glow. You can increase this value if stars appear too dim, or reduce it if they overwhelm the night sky. Color saturation controls are also available—increasing saturation makes the different star colors more vivid, while lowering it creates a more subtle, naturalistic effect.
Fine-Tune Flicker Rate
The twinkling effect can be adjusted through flicker or animation speed settings. A higher value creates more noticeable, rapid twinkling, while lower values produce a gentle, slow shimmer. Experiment with these settings to match your preferred aesthetic.
Apply and Test
Save your changes and observe the night sky from different locations and times. The effect is most visible when looking straight up during clear nights. Adjust further as needed to achieve your desired balance between realism and visual impact.
