Collecting Wood Types from Different Biomes

Identifying New Wood Variants

Treevamped introduces several new wood types across different biomes. Maple trees feature distinctive dark magenta leaves and produce salmon-colored wood. Beech trees grow in Birch forests with grey-toned bark and planks. Dark Oak and Pale Oak now generate as single-trunk trees in appropriate biomes, making them easier to harvest than before.

Biome-Specific Harvesting Routes

Plan collection trips by biome to gather specific wood types for your builds. Visit Birch forests for Beech wood, search regular forests for Maple trees, and explore woodlands for ancient trees. Each wood type has distinct visual characteristics, so you can identify them from a distance.

Storage and Organization

Keep different wood types separated in your storage system. The variety of planks and logs available means you can create more visually interesting builds by mixing wood colors and textures. Consider organizing by color family—warm tones like Maple and Dark Oak separate from cool greys like Beech.

Harvest more than you think you'll need; the mod's increased wood yield per tree makes stockpiling practical.
