Translocators — Guide

Fluid Translocator

The Fluid Translocator works the same way but for tanks and fluid containers, moving liquids between adjacent tanks. Extract and receive behaviour matches the item version.

Placing & Linking

  1. Sneak and right-click the face of a container with a translocator to place it.
  2. Place more translocators on the surrounding containers that share the same central space.
  3. Translocators in the same block space link automatically — no wrench needed.

Extract vs Receive

Each translocator is either extracting or receiving. Right-click a translocator's insert to toggle its state. Set the source container's translocator to extract; leave the others as receivers. Items/fluids then flow from the source to the receivers, spread across all valid destinations.

Filters & Regulate

Right-click an Item Translocator to open its filter GUI. Place items in the filter slots to allow only those items to pass. Regulate mode keeps a target amount in the destination instead of moving everything, useful for keeping machines topped up.

Upgrades

  • Redstone: right-click a translocator with redstone to make it redstone-controlled.
  • Glowstone Dust: speeds up transfers (fast mode).
  • Iron Ingot: adds a signal output so the translocator can emit redstone based on transfer state. Right-click with an empty hand while sneaking to strip upgrades back out.

Getting Started

  1. Install the required libraries (Code Chicken Lib and CB Multipart).
  2. Install Translocators.
  3. Craft Item or Fluid Translocators, place them on two adjacent containers, set one to extract, and watch items flow.

Item Translocator

Place an Item Translocator on the face of a chest, barrel or other item container. Translocators sharing a block space link together automatically. One translocator set to extract pulls items from its container and sends them to the receiving translocators on the network.
