How to Manage Thirst and Heal

Drink Before You Drop

Thirst is the gate on healing. Keep a Purified Water Bottle or a Purified Water Canteen tier in your hotbar and drink before the bar empties. Dirty Water Bottle and Dirty Water Canteen tiers are unsafe — purify them first through a Water Purifier. Once thirst is satisfied, normal healing can proceed.

Juice Options

Juices restore thirst and add variety. Available juices: Apple Juice, Cactus Juice, Chorus Fruit Juice, Glow Berry Juice, Melon Juice, Pumpkin Juice, and Sweet Berry Juice. Craft them from their source ingredients and drink when you need a top-up. Charc-O's and Ice Cream are also edible items in the mod's food line.

Rain Collector for Steady Supply

Place a Rain Collector to gather water over time. Use it to fill canteens and bottles, then run the dirty results through a Water Purifier. This keeps a renewable supply without long trips to a river.

Healing Loop

1. Fill containers at a water source or Rain Collector.

2. Purify Dirty Water Bottle and Dirty Water Canteen tiers in a Water Purifier.

3. Drink Purified Water Bottle or a Purified Water Canteen tier to restore thirst.

4. Eat food and juice to keep hunger and thirst topped up so health regenerates.

Carry spare Empty canteens so you can refill on the move.
