Wool and Leaf Sets

Two armor lines exist for temperature control. The Wool line is Wool Hood, Wool Parka, Wool Pants, and Wool Boots — worn for cold resistance. The Leaf line is Leaf Veil, Leaf Poncho, Leaf Pants, and Leaf Greaves — worn for heat resistance. Craft the pieces you need for the biome you are entering and equip them in the normal armor slots.

Reading Your Temperature

Craft a Thermometer or a Temperature Gauge to monitor your body temperature. The Temperature Gauge is a placeable block; the Thermometer is a carried item. Watch the reading and swap between Wool and Leaf pieces as it drifts toward the dangerous end of the scale.

The Thermoregulator

For hands-off control, build a Thermoregulator block. It manages temperature regulation in its area so you do not have to constantly re-dress. Place it in a base, mine, or shelter where you spend long stretches. Combine it with the appropriate Wool or Leaf set for extended trips into extreme biomes, and keep a Thermometer on you to confirm the Thermoregulator is holding your temperature in the safe range.
