Verify the Pack Is Working Correctly
Check That Food Models Are Scaled Down
1. Hold any food item in your main hand (bread, cooked meat, apple, etc.)
2. Look at the item model in the bottom-right corner of your screen
3. The model should appear noticeably smaller than default Minecraft food items
4. Compare to a non-food item (like a sword or pickaxe) held in your off-hand—the food should be visibly more compact
Troubleshooting
Food still looks full-size:
- Confirm Tiny Meals is in your "Selected" resource packs list (not "Available")
- Restart Minecraft after enabling the pack
- Check that no other active pack is overriding the scale changes
Pack won't load:
- Verify the file is in
.minecraft/resourcepacks/ - Ensure it's not corrupted; try re-downloading if needed
- Check that your Minecraft version is compatible with the pack
Visual glitches:
- Try adjusting load order if using multiple packs
- Disable and re-enable the pack in Resource Packs settings
Once confirmed working, all held food should display at reduced size consistently.
