Tiny Meals Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I know if Tiny Meals is actually working?
Hold any food item in your hand and compare it to the screenshots on the mod page—your held food should take up noticeably less screen space than normal. If food items still look full-sized, check that the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack list and ranked above any conflicting packs.
Can I use Tiny Meals with my favorite food texture pack?
Yes, Tiny Meals is designed to work alongside other food texture packs without conflicts. Place Tiny Meals above your food texture pack in the resource pack order so the size changes apply on top of the textures.
Why do my food items still look huge when I hold them?
Make sure Tiny Meals is enabled in your resource packs menu and positioned above any other packs that modify food models. If you have multiple packs that change food, the one listed lowest in your pack order will override the others.
Does Tiny Meals affect food in my inventory or hotbar?
No, Tiny Meals only shrinks food models when you hold them in your hand in first-person view. Items in your inventory and hotbar display at normal size.
Will this pack work with modded food items?
Tiny Meals only affects vanilla Minecraft food items. Modded foods won't be resized unless the mod author adds support or you manually edit the pack.
Can I disable Tiny Meals without uninstalling it?
Yes, go to your resource packs menu and click the arrow next to Tiny Meals to move it to the inactive list, then restart your world.
Does Tiny Meals affect performance or cause lag?
No, Tiny Meals is a lightweight resource pack that only changes model sizes and has no impact on game performance.
Why does my food look tiny but my friend's doesn't?
Your friend needs to install and enable Tiny Meals in their own resource packs—resource packs only affect your own client, not other players.
Can I adjust how small the food gets?
Tiny Meals comes with a fixed size reduction. If you want different sizing, you'd need to edit the resource pack files directly, which requires knowledge of Minecraft model JSON files.
Does Tiny Meals work in multiplayer servers?
Yes, Tiny Meals is a client-side resource pack and works on any server without requiring server-side installation or permissions.
