Use Fortune and Unbreaking with tree felling

How enchantments interact

The Timber Replant Plugin works with standard Minecraft tool enchantments. If your axe has Fortune, you'll receive extra drops of wood, sticks, and apples when you fell a tree—just as if you'd broken each block individually. Unbreaking reduces the durability cost, letting you fell more trees before your tool breaks.

Maximize wood gathering

Equip an axe with both Fortune III and Unbreaking III for the best wood farming efficiency. Fortune increases your total yield per tree, while Unbreaking stretches your tool's lifespan across many more felling operations.

Tool durability still applies

Even with enchantments, your axe loses durability for every block in the tree that breaks. A large tree costs more durability than a small one. The Durability System configuration controls how much damage each block deals—check this if your tools are wearing out faster or slower than expected.

Combine with mending

If your server allows it, Mending enchantment works well with tree felling. As you collect wood drops, experience orbs repair your axe automatically.
