Twilight Forest Boss Progression Order

Early Bosses

Start with the Naga, then the Twilight Lich. Defeat the Naga in the Naga Courtyard to obtain Naga Scale, which is used for Naga Scale armor and the Naga Scale shield. The Twilight Lich drops a Scepter and other loot. After the Lich, fight the Minoshroom in the Labyrinth, then the Hydra in the Fire Swamp.

Mid and Late Bosses

After the Hydra, defeat the Ur-Ghast in the Dark Tower, then the Alpha Yeti in the Snow Forest. The Alpha Yeti drops Alpha Yeti Fur, which crafts Arctic Fur and the Arctic Hood, Arctic Jacket, Arctic Leggings, and Arctic Boots. Next is the Snow Queen. Finally, fight the Goblin Knight in the Goblin Knight Stronghold and the Giant in the Giant's Castle.

Progression Logic

Each boss unlocks access to the next area. The Naga unlocks the Labyrinth. The Lich unlocks the Fire Swamp. The Hydra unlocks the Dark Tower. The Ur-Ghast unlocks the Snow Forest. The Alpha Yeti unlocks the Snow Queen. Defeat bosses in this order to avoid being under-geared. Use Ironwood, Knightmetal, and Steeleaf gear as you progress. Store trophies like the Alpha Yeti Trophy on a wall as proof of progression.
