How to Craft and Wear Arctic Armor

The Four Pieces

Arctic armor comes in four slots: Arctic Hood, Arctic Jacket, Arctic Leggings, and Arctic Boots. Craft each piece, then equip them in the normal armor slots. Wearing the full set gives you cold protection, which matters when you travel into frozen or snowy regions of the Twilight Forest.

Arctic Fur and Storage

Arctic Fur is the material tied to this set. You can also craft a Block of Arctic Fur for storage or decoration, so surplus fur does not clog your inventory. Keep a stack of Arctic Fur at your base and convert it into blocks when your chests fill up. If you are building a cold-themed room, Block of Arctic Fur works as a floor or wall block.

When to Wear It

Put the full Arctic set on before heading into snowy biomes or anywhere you expect cold damage. The Hood, Jacket, Leggings, and Boots are separate items, so you can wear partial pieces if you only need some protection, but the full set is the safest option. Store the armor in a Canopy Chest or Darkwood Chest near your portal so you can swap into it quickly before an expedition. Repair or replace pieces as they wear down, and keep spare Arctic Fur on hand so you can recraft any slot that breaks.
