How to Craft and Use Twilight Forest Utility Blocks

Drying Racks

Craft a Canopy Drying Rack, Acacia Drying Rack, Birch Drying Rack, or Bamboo Drying Rack using the respective planks and sticks. Place the drying rack and right-click it with a wet item such as Beef Jerky ingredients or Leather. Drying is a slow process, so place multiple racks.

Storage and Building

Craft a Canopy Chest from Canopy Planks. Use it to store items. Craft a Canopy Bookshelf from Canopy Planks and books. Craft Canopy Doors, Canopy Trapdoors, Canopy Fence Gates, Canopy Buttons, Canopy Pressure Plates, Canopy Signs, Canopy Hanging Signs, Canopy Wall Signs, Canopy Wall Hanging Signs, Canopy Windows, and Canopy Window Panes for your base.

Use Canopy Stairs, Canopy Slab, and Canopy Planks to build floors and roofs. Use Canopy Banister for railings. Use Canopy Boat and Canopy Boat with Chest to travel on water.

Special Blocks

Craft a Brazier from iron and coal. Light it with flint and steel. Craft a Candelabra from iron and candles. Place it for light.

Craft a Blank Magic Map, Blank Maze Map, or Blank Maze/Ore Map. Hold the map and right-click to activate it. The map fills in as you explore. Use it to find dungeons and ores.

Craft an Antibuilder and Antibuilt Block. Place the Antibuilder to remove built blocks in a radius. Use Antibuilt Block as a decorative block.

Craft a Carminite Reactor from Carminite and iron. Place it and right-click to activate. It explodes after a delay. Use it for mining or traps.

Craft a Block and Chain from iron and a chain. Use it to trap mobs. Craft a Block and Chain Goblin Spawn Egg to spawn a goblin that carries a block and chain.

Craft a Brittle Potion Flask from glass. Fill it with a potion. It breaks after one use.

Craft a Charm of Keeping I, II, or III from gold and a diamond. Keep it in your inventory to keep items on death. Craft a Charm of Life I from gold and a diamond to gain extra hearts.
