Gathering the Base Wood

Two full wood families are available: Canopy and Darkwood. Each starts from its log block, Canopy Tree Wood or Darkwood Wood. Turn those into Canopy Planks or Darkwood Planks, then branch out into the full set of shapes.

From Canopy Planks you can make Canopy Stairs, Canopy Slab, Canopy Fence, Canopy Fence Gate, Canopy Door, Canopy Trapdoor, Canopy Button, Canopy Pressure Plate, Canopy Sign, Canopy Hanging Sign, Canopy Banister, Canopy Window, Canopy Window Pane, Canopy Bookshelf, and Canopy Chest. Darkwood Planks give you the matching Darkwood Stairs, Darkwood Slab, Darkwood Fence, Darkwood Fence Gate, Darkwood Door, Darkwood Trapdoor, Darkwood Button, Darkwood Pressure Plate, Darkwood Sign, Darkwood Hanging Sign, Darkwood Banister, and Darkwood Chest.

Boats and Storage

Both families include boats: Canopy Boat, Canopy Boat with Chest, Darkwood Boat, and Darkwood Boat with Chest. Use the chest variants when you are moving materials across water. Banisters work as railings along stairs and balconies. Windows and Window Panes let light into a Canopy build without leaving it open. Mix Canopy and Darkwood in the same structure for contrast, and use Canopy Bookshelf or Darkwood Chest to furnish the interior.
