Smelt Copper Ore in a Stone Furnace
Building Your Stone Furnace
Construct a stone furnace using the multi-block design from your quest book. This structure requires stone blocks arranged in a specific pattern with an opening for fuel and ore. Unlike vanilla furnaces, this is a larger, more realistic smelting setup.
Loading Ore and Fuel
Place copper ore in the designated ore slot and charcoal in the fuel slot. The furnace will begin processing. Smelting takes time—be patient and don't dismantle the structure while it's active.
Collecting Results
Once the process completes, collect your raw copper from the output area. You now have the base material for bronze working and further progression.
Scaling Up
Build multiple furnaces if you need to process ore quickly. As you progress, you'll unlock better smelting methods like bloomeries and blast furnaces, but the stone furnace is your reliable early-game workhorse. Keep your charcoal supply steady to maintain continuous smelting operations.
