Mobs

Telicraft adds several unique creatures with distinct behaviors, ranging from peaceful traders to dangerous environmental hazards.

Froglins

Froglins are the "villagers of the caves." They are a peaceful, sentient race that resides in humble underground villages within massive cavern systems. Unlike standard villagers, Froglins do not use traditional currency; instead, they enjoy playing games and wagering treats. They have a deep affinity for music and will react positively to players using sound-emitting instruments.

Copper Protectors

Copper Protectors are mechanical golems constructed by Froglins to defend their subterranean homes. They are easily identified by their lightning rod arms, which they use to channel energy. They are neutral unless the Froglins they protect are harmed.

Weeper

The Weeper is a hostile mob found exclusively in The Foul mini-biome. It has a haunting appearance and behavior, often surprising players who venture too deep into the corrupted terrain.

Vialbugs

Vialbugs are insectoid creatures that typically spawn in Warped Forests. While generally passive, they will bite if provoked. Their most unique trait is the ability to release clouds of potion effects into the air. They can be seen "drinking" from fountains or cauldrons to replenish or change the effects they emit.

Shroomash

Found in the Moldy End biome, the Shroomash is a utility mob that acts as a biological recycler. It can consume certain items dropped by the player and return raw ingredients, providing a unique way to recover resources in the End dimension.

Mob Health Spawn Location Behavior
Froglin 20 Underground Villages Passive / Trader
Copper Protector 50 Near Froglin Villages Neutral / Defensive
Weeper 30 The Foul Biome Hostile
Vialbug 10 Warped Forests Neutral / Potion-based
Shroomash 25 Moldy End (The End) Passive / Recycler

Items

The mod introduces a variety of tools, materials, and consumables that expand the player's utility and combat capabilities.

Emergency Item

One of the most iconic items in the mod, the Emergency Item allows a player to instantly teleport to a safe location (usually the world spawn). It is designed as a last-resort escape tool. * Overworld Use: Teleports the player to the world spawn point, automatically adjusting the Y-level to ensure the player is not stuck inside blocks. * Nether/End Use: Teleports the player back to the Overworld, though this can occasionally trigger the credits sequence if used in the End.

Humming Gems

These rare gems are found deep within caves and are used primarily for the Infusion mechanic. Each gem has a unique color and associated buff: * Rubidite (Red): Strength-related buffs. * Magmite (Yellow): Provides 10 seconds of lava immunity per piece. * Slimite (Green): Jump boost and fall resistance. * Sapphite (Blue): Speed and water-related buffs. * Frozite (White): Freezing or slowing effects on enemies. * Onyxite (Black): Resistance and defense. * Deralite (Purple): Teleportation on hit.

Other Key Items

  • Meteor Dust: Obtained by breaking Meteor Blocks; used to craft Meteor Bombs.
  • Adamant Ingot: Smelted from Adamant Ore; used for high-tier tools and the Adamant Furnace.
  • Excalibur: A legendary sword that can only be crafted by using the Sharpener block on a specific base blade.
  • Instruments: Various sound-emitting items used to interact with Froglins and trigger certain environmental reactions.

Blocks

Telicraft's blocks range from new ores to advanced machinery and decorative variants.

Adamant Series

Adamant is a rare, high-durability material found deep underground. * Adamant Ore: Requires a Diamond Pickaxe to mine. * Adamant Furnace: A specialized furnace that operates at higher speeds and with greater fuel efficiency than the standard furnace. * Block of Adamant: A storage block that can also be used in the construction of beacons.

Meteorite Blocks

Meteor Blocks are extraterrestrial materials that occasionally appear in the world. * Meteor Block: Has very low hardness and blast resistance. It will destroy itself if the block beneath it is removed. * Meteor Bomb: A powerful explosive crafted from Meteor Dust. It has a larger blast radius than TNT and can destroy tougher blocks.

Utility Blocks

  • Advanced Crafting Table: A tiered crafting station required for some of the mod's more complex recipes.
  • Sharpener: Used to maintain and upgrade tools. It is the only way to obtain the Excalibur sword.
  • Alarm: A block that emits a loud sound when it receives a redstone signal. Useful for base security or Froglin communication.
  • Popping Plants: Found in The Foul biome, these plants act as natural landmines, exploding when stepped on or broken.
  • Strangestone: A mysterious block used to construct the frame for the Strange Portal.
