Optimize TAA69 for Low-End Computers
Verify Shader is Enabled
Confirm TAA69 is active in your shader selection menu. The mod is designed for low-end hardware, so enabling it should not significantly impact performance compared to vanilla.
Lower Render Distance Gradually
Start with a render distance you can maintain at 60+ FPS. TAA69 is lightweight, but render distance is the primary performance factor. Reduce it incrementally until you achieve smooth gameplay.
Reduce Temporal Samples if Available
Some shader configurations allow you to lower the number of frames TAA uses for smoothing. Fewer samples mean less computation while still providing edge smoothing.
Disable Advanced Features
Look for optional enhancements like shadow improvements or ambient occlusion. Disabling these keeps TAA69 focused on anti-aliasing, maximizing performance.
Monitor Frame Rate
Use an FPS counter to track performance while adjusting settings. TAA69 should run smoothly even on older graphics cards; if it doesn't, your other settings may need adjustment.
Test in Demanding Areas
Visit complex areas with many blocks and entities to confirm stable performance before settling on your configuration.
