Compare Edge Quality Before and After TAA69
Take Reference Screenshots
Disable TAA69 temporarily and take screenshots of the same scene—focus on distant blocks, tree leaves, and thin structures like fences. These areas show jagged edges most clearly.
Re-enable TAA69 and Compare
Turn the shader back on and take identical screenshots from the same position. Look at the same edges. You should notice smoother lines without blurriness.
Examine Different Distances
Jagged edges are most visible at medium to far distances. Walk toward and away from detailed structures to see how TAA69 smooths edges across various ranges.
Check Movement Quality
Turn your camera slowly while watching block edges. With TAA69 enabled, edges should remain clean without trailing or ghosting artifacts during smooth camera movement.
Test Various Lighting Conditions
Edge quality can appear different in bright sunlight versus shadows. Compare screenshots taken at sunrise, midday, and in caves to ensure consistent improvement.
Adjust Settings if Needed
If the improvement isn't noticeable or artifacts appear, fine-tune intensity settings and retake comparison screenshots until satisfied.
