Troubleshoot Particles Not Appearing or Disappearing

Verify the Mod is Enabled

Check your mod loader's mod list to confirm Sylvan Drift is loaded. Particles won't spawn if the mod isn't active. Restart your game after installing or updating the mod.

Check Your Settings Haven't Disabled Particles

Open Mod Settings > Sylvan Drift and confirm:

• Particle Density is not set to zero
• Individual biome toggles are enabled for the areas you're visiting
• Particle Size isn't set to minimum (particles may be too small to see)

Ensure You're in the Right Biome

Particles only spawn beneath matching tree types. Oak leaves fall under oak trees, not in plains. Cherry petals appear only in cherry groves. If you don't see particles, move to a forest, jungle, or cherry grove.

Verify Cloth Config is Installed

Sylvan Drift requires the Cloth Config library to function. Without it, the mod won't load properly. Reinstall both the mod and Cloth Config, ensuring they're compatible with your Minecraft version.

Reset to Default Settings

If particles still don't appear, reset all Sylvan Drift settings to defaults through the mod menu and restart your game.
