Fix Doors, Trapdoors, and Fence Gates Orientation

Rotating Entrance Blocks

Doors, trapdoors, and fence gates have a hinge side and a swing direction. Use the rotation tool to align them correctly without rebuilding.

Steps:

1. Equip the rotation tool in your main hand

2. Right-click the door, trapdoor, or fence gate

3. The block rotates to the next orientation

4. Check if it opens and swings the way you want

5. Continue rotating or use Shift + right-click to cycle backward

Common Fixes

• Doors: Rotate so the hinge is on the correct side and the door swings into the room, not blocking the entrance
• Trapdoors: Adjust so they open upward or downward as intended, and don't block pathways when open
• Fence gates: Align the gate opening to face the direction players approach from

Testing Your Rotation

After rotating, test the block by interacting with it to confirm it opens in the desired direction. This is especially important for doors in tight corridors or trapdoors over drops.
