Align Logs and Pillars to Build Vertical Structures

Rotating Directional Blocks

Logs, pillars, and similar blocks have a grain or texture direction that matters for aesthetics. Rotate them to align with your build's design.

Steps:

1. Equip the rotation tool

2. Right-click the log or pillar block

3. The block rotates to the next orientation

4. Continue clicking until the grain or texture faces your preferred direction

5. Use Shift + right-click to reverse the rotation cycle if needed

Building Aligned Structures

When stacking multiple logs vertically or horizontally, rotate each one so the grain runs consistently through your structure. This creates a polished, intentional appearance rather than a random mix of orientations.

Configuration Note

If logs aren't rotating in your world, check the mod's configuration file to ensure the enabled setting for logs is set to true. Server admins can disable specific block types if needed.
