Adjust Chest and Shulker Box Openings

Changing Chest Facing

Chests and shulker boxes have a front face where the opening appears. Rotate them to face the direction you want players to access them from.

Steps:

1. Hold the rotation tool

2. Right-click the chest or shulker box

3. The block rotates, changing which side the opening faces

4. Repeat until the front faces the correct direction

5. Use Shift + right-click to cycle backward if overshooting

Practical Applications

• Align chests along a wall so all openings face outward for easy access
• Rotate shulker boxes in storage rooms to create organized, uniform layouts
• Adjust double chests so both halves open toward players
• Position chests in tight spaces where only one direction allows safe opening
