Switch Between Shader and Non-Shader Gameplay

Playing Without Shaders

Stylized Liquids maintains a polished appearance even without shader packs installed. The painted, artistic style of the textures remains visible and distinct.

Steps:

1. Launch Minecraft with only Stylized Liquids active (no shader pack)

2. Load your world

3. Water and lava will display their stylized painted textures without normal map effects

4. Performance will be better since shaders aren't running

Switching to Shaders

When you want to enable shaders later:

1. Install a shader pack to your shader folder

2. Open the Shader menu in-game (usually accessed through Video Settings)

3. Select your shader pack

4. The normal maps and POM effects will activate immediately

5. Reload your world if needed

Performance Consideration

Shaders significantly impact frame rate. If you experience lag, try a lighter shader pack or reduce its quality settings. The resource pack alone has minimal performance impact.
