Make Water Look Best with Shaders

Pair with a Shader Pack

Stylized Liquids is designed to shine when paired with shader packs. The resource pack includes normal maps that add depth and realism to water surfaces, but these only activate when you use shaders.

Steps:

1. Install a shader pack known for good water rendering (popular options include those with realistic lighting and reflections)

2. Load your world with both Stylized Liquids and your shader pack active

3. Visit an ocean, lake, or river to see the effect

4. The water will now display ripples, reflections, and surface detail that the normal maps provide

Without Shaders

If you don't use shaders, the pack still maintains a clean, stylized painted appearance. The water won't have the extra depth effects, but the artistic style remains consistent and visually distinct from vanilla textures.

Tip: Adjust your shader settings if water looks too bright or dark. Most shaders let you tweak water transparency and reflection intensity in their configuration menu.
