Track Your First Structure Discovery

How Discovery Works

Structure Explorer automatically detects when you enter any generated building or landmark. You don't need to do anything special—just walk, sprint, or fly into a structure. The mod checks your location every few seconds (default interval) and logs new places instantly.

Getting Your First Discovery

1. Travel through your world normally. Explore caves, villages, temples, fortresses, or any modded structures.

2. When you enter a new structure type, listen for a chime sound effect and watch your chat window.

3. You'll see a confirmation message with the structure's name and your coordinates.

4. Open your personal explorer list by typing /explorer in chat to see it logged.

What Gets Recorded

Each discovery stores:

  • The structure's name and ID
  • Your exact coordinates where you entered
  • The date and time you found it
  • Whether you were the first player to discover it (if enabled on your server)

If you visit the same structure type in a different location, the mod records it as a separate instance. Check /explorer instances <structure_id> to see all your visits to that structure type.
