Squid Game V16.4 Map FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I become the Frontman and start running games?
When you create or load a world with this map, you'll spawn with Frontman permissions by default. You can then invite players to your world and use the control interface to launch the first game from the lobby area.
Can I play this map in single-player or do I need other players?
You can load the map alone, but the core experience is designed around hosting multiple players competing against each other. Playing solo lets you test games and learn the controls, but the real challenge comes from managing a group.
What happens if a player breaks the rules during a game?
As the Frontman, you have tools to eliminate rule-breakers directly or can use the control panel to disqualify them from the current challenge. Eliminated players are removed from competition and can spectate the remaining rounds.
How many players can actually join my world at once?
The map supports up to 100 players in a single world, though actual performance depends on your server hardware and network connection.
Do all players have to complete every game or can some skip ahead?
Games progress as a group—the Frontman controls when each challenge starts and stops, so all active players participate in the same game at the same time. Eliminated players cannot rejoin that round.
Can I change the difficulty or rules of individual games?
Yes, the map includes customization options that let you adjust game difficulty and rules before or between challenges. Check the Frontman control panel for settings specific to each game type.
What should I do if players get stuck or lag out during a game?
You can pause or restart the current challenge from the Frontman controls to give players time to catch up or reconnect. If a player's connection is lost, they'll typically be marked as eliminated after a timeout period.
Is there a way to practice running a game before inviting a big group?
Yes—load the map in your own world first and run through the games solo or with a small test group to learn the controls and pacing before hosting a larger event.
Can I play this map on a multiplayer server or only in a personal world?
The map works on multiplayer servers as long as the server software supports custom maps and the Frontman role is properly assigned to a server operator or admin.
What do I do after someone wins—can I run the games again with new players?
Yes, you can reset the map or start a new round with fresh players once a winner is crowned. The Frontman controls allow you to restart challenges and begin a new competition cycle.
