How to Apply Smite to Your Greatsword

Getting Started with Smite on Heavy Weapons

Smite is a holy enchantment that deals extra damage to undead mobs. With this data pack, you can now apply it to heavy weapons from the Minecraft Dungeons Weapons mod, including greatswords, hammers, maces, and even bone clubs.

Applying Smite

Smite works like any other enchantment in Minecraft. You can obtain it through:

• Enchanting table: Use lapis lazuli and experience to enchant your heavy weapon directly
• Anvil: Combine your weapon with an enchanted book containing Smite
• Loot: Find weapons that already have Smite applied from mob drops or loot chests
• Commands: Use /enchant commands if you have cheats enabled

Using Your Smited Weapon

Once applied, your heavy weapon will automatically deal bonus damage whenever you strike undead enemies like zombies, skeletons, withers, and drowned. The damage bonus increases with each level of Smite (I through V). This makes heavy weapons particularly effective for clearing undead-heavy areas or fighting the Wither boss.
