Stacking Enchantments on Heavy Weapons

Smite doesn't exist in isolation. You can combine it with other enchantments to create powerful heavy weapons tailored to your needs.

Recommended Enchantment Combinations

For damage output: Pair Smite with Sharpness for increased damage against all mobs, not just undead. This creates a versatile weapon effective in any situation.

For survivability: Add Knockback to push enemies away while you deal holy damage, or use Unbreaking to extend your weapon's durability during extended combat.

For utility: Combine with Fire Aspect to set undead enemies ablaze, or use Looting to increase drops from defeated mobs.

Using an Anvil

To combine multiple enchantments, use an anvil with enchanted books. Place your heavy weapon in the first slot and an enchanted book in the second. The anvil will merge compatible enchantments. Note that combining multiple enchantments increases the experience cost, so plan your upgrades carefully.
