How to Assign Spells to Your Action Bar

Open Your Codex and Select a Spell

1. Press your action bar key (default: ` ``) to open the Spell Codex

2. Browse to the magic school containing your unlocked spell

3. Click on the spell you want to equip – it must be in an unlocked tier

4. The spell is now selected and ready to assign

Place It on Your Action Bar

1. Look at the action bar slots displayed in the interface – these are your available casting positions

2. Click an empty slot to assign your selected spell to that position

3. Close the interface

4. During combat, press the corresponding key for that slot to cast the spell

Expand Your Slots

You start with a limited number of action bar slots. To add more:

• Equip empty spellbooks in your Curios accessory slots (typically worn like armor)
• Each empty spellbook you equip grants additional action bar slots
• Return to the Codex interface to see your expanded slot count

You can swap spells between slots at any time by opening the Codex again.
