How to Use Spartan Weaponry in Combat
Melee Combat
- Daggers and Rapiers: Attack quickly. Use them to apply Fire Aspect or Knockback rapidly. Best against unarmored mobs.
- Longswords and Katanas: Balanced. Use sweeping edge for groups.
- Sabers and Spears: Spears have longer reach. Attack from behind a block or while backing away.
- Halberds, Glaives, Pikes, Quarterstaffs: Long reach. Use them to hit mobs before they can hit you. Slow attack speed, so time your hits.
- Warhammers, Battleaxes, Maces: High damage, slow. Use against armored enemies or bosses. Warhammers can ignore some armor.
Ranged Combat
- Throwing Knives, Throwing Axes, Javelins: Right-click to throw. They stack, so carry many. Retrieve them from the ground after throwing if possible.
- Boomerang: Right-click to throw. It returns to you, so you can reuse it. Good for hitting multiple enemies if it passes through them.
Offhand Use
- Parrying Dagger: Hold in offhand. Right-click to parry an incoming attack, reducing damage. Timing matters.
- Buckler: Hold in offhand. Blocks attacks like a shield but with less coverage.
- Tower Shield: Hold in offhand. Blocks more damage but slows your movement.
General Tips
- Always carry a backup weapon.
- Use shields or parrying daggers to mitigate damage.
- Enchant your weapons with Mending and Unbreaking for longevity.
- Practice with each weapon type to learn its attack speed and reach.
