How to Automate Item Handling with Pickup, Magnet, Void, and Deposit Upgrades

Pulling Items In

A Pickup Upgrade makes the backpack collect items you walk over. Upgrade it to Advanced Pickup Upgrade for a wider or more flexible pickup behavior. A Magnet Upgrade pulls items toward you from a distance; the Advanced Magnet Upgrade extends that range further.

To filter what gets collected, install a Filter Upgrade or Advanced Filter Upgrade. The filter controls which items the pickup and magnet upgrades are allowed to grab.

Pushing Items Out

Use a Deposit Upgrade to push items from the backpack into a container. The Advanced Deposit Upgrade gives you more control over what is deposited and where. Pair it with a Filter Upgrade or Advanced Filter Upgrade to restrict deposits to specific items.

To destroy unwanted items, install a Void Upgrade or Advanced Void Upgrade. The advanced version offers finer control over what is voided.

Restocking and Refilling

A Restock Upgrade or Advanced Restock Upgrade moves items from the backpack back into your inventory slots. A Refill Upgrade or Advanced Refill Upgrade refills stacks you are using, such as food or building blocks, from the backpack.

Combine these with Advanced Feeding upgrade to keep hunger topped up automatically from food stored in the backpack.
