Setting Up Prayer Sacrifices

Prayer is trained by sacrificing items on lit candles. This unique mechanic rewards preparation and planning. Gather candles and rare plants or valuable items before starting your Prayer grind.

How to Sacrifice

1. Place lit candles in your training area—you can use multiple candles simultaneously.

2. Hold a sacrificial item (rare plants, enchanted books, or other valuable materials work).

3. Right-click the candle while holding the item to sacrifice it.

4. Gain Prayer XP and watch your level increase in the HUD or Tab menu.

5. Repeat with more items until you reach your target level.

Buff Rewards

As your Prayer level increases, you unlock long-term status buffs that persist across sessions. These buffs provide passive bonuses to combat, resource gathering, or other activities. Higher Prayer levels unlock stronger and longer-lasting effects.

Resource Planning

Prayer requires valuable items, so plan ahead. Collect rare plants during exploration or save enchanted books you don't need. The investment pays off through powerful buffs that enhance your overall progression.
