How Fishing Skill Works

Your Fishing level directly improves catch speed and treasure quality. Higher levels unlock access to rarer loot tiers and reduce the time between bites. This makes Fishing one of the most rewarding AFK-friendly skills.

Leveling Fishing

1. Find water—any body of water works, though larger areas may feel less tedious.

2. Cast your line repeatedly to gain XP with each catch.

3. Monitor your level via Tab or your HUD to track progress toward the next tier.

4. Unlock better fishing rods at higher skill levels for increased durability and faster catches.

Treasure Progression

As your Fishing level increases, you'll encounter better treasure tiers. Early catches yield common items, but higher levels unlock rare and valuable loot. The speed improvement means you'll catch more fish in the same time, compounding your rewards.

Semi-AFK Approach

Fishing is ideal for semi-AFK training—you can fish while watching chat or doing light tasks. Set up near your base in a safe area, and periodically check your level. This makes Fishing an excellent complement to other grinds.
