Observe and Study Geysers in Yellowstone
Finding Yellowstone Biome
Yellowstone biomes generate as part of the mod's world generation and are characterized by their geothermal features. Search for areas with distinctive yellow and sulfurous terrain. The biome stands out visually from surrounding landscapes.
Locating Active Geysers
Geysers form from Potent Sulfur blocks arranged underground and at the surface. Look for:
- Clusters of Potent Sulfur blocks
- Steamy, particle-filled areas
- Elevated terrain with visible sulfur deposits
- Underground caverns filled with sulfur formations
Observing Geyser Behavior
Active geysers display working mechanics—they emit particles and create atmospheric effects. Stand back and watch the geysers function; they're primarily visual and environmental features that enhance the biome's geothermal theme. The Potent Sulfur blocks themselves are the key component.
Harvesting Sulfur
Mine Potent Sulfur blocks with a pickaxe to collect them. They're useful for building projects with a volcanic or industrial aesthetic. The biome is also worth exploring for other ores and resources found in geothermal environments. The geyser formations make excellent landmarks for navigation.
