Understanding Infested Caves

Infested Caves are the mod's reworked underground cavern system. They feature Pale Moss blocks, hanging moss, and spider egg decorations throughout. These caves generate beneath the surface and often connect to other cave systems, making them natural highways for underground exploration.

Safe Exploration Tips

Bring:

• A pickaxe (stone or better) to mine Pale Moss and other blocks
• Torches or light sources—these caves are darker than vanilla caves
• Weapons for spider encounters
• Building blocks to mark your path back

Spiders spawn frequently in Infested Caves, so stay alert. The spider eggs are decorative but signal dangerous areas. Use torches to light your way and prevent mob spawning.
