Use Multiple Resource Packs with Server Packs

Layer Packs Effectively

The mod lets you combine your own resource packs with server-provided ones, creating a custom experience that respects server requirements.

1. Identify which assets the server pack provides (textures, sounds, UI, etc.)

2. Create or download personal packs that fill gaps or enhance specific areas

3. In the Resource Packs menu, arrange all active packs in your preferred order

4. Place server packs lower in the list if you want your packs to override them

5. Test in-game to ensure all assets load correctly

Practical Example

If a server provides a complete texture pack but you prefer different GUI colors, add a GUI-only pack above it. Or if the server pack lacks custom sounds, add a sound pack below it—both will coexist. The mod ensures that whichever pack is highest in the menu provides the asset, preventing conflicts.

This approach lets you maintain server compatibility while personalizing your gameplay experience.
