Override a Server Resource Pack with Your Own

Add Your Resource Pack

When you join a server that provides a resource pack, the mod allows you to layer your own pack on top of it. This means your textures, sounds, and UI elements will display instead of the server's defaults.

1. Place your desired resource pack in your resource packs folder

2. Open the Resource Packs menu in your game settings

3. You'll see both server-provided packs and your local packs listed

4. Arrange your pack above the server pack in the active list

5. Packs higher in the list take priority, so your textures will override the server's

Verify the Override

Join the server and check that your textures appear in-game. If they don't, make sure your pack is positioned above the server pack in the menu. You can also temporarily disable the server pack to confirm your pack loads correctly.

This is useful when you prefer your own aesthetic, want better performance with a lighter pack, or need accessibility modifications that the server pack doesn't provide.
