Disable Server Resource Pack Downloads

Stop Unwanted Pack Downloads

If a server provides a resource pack you don't want, the mod lets you prevent it from downloading entirely. This saves bandwidth and storage space.

1. Open the Resource Packs menu

2. Locate the server-provided pack in the list

3. Look for a settings option or toggle for that pack

4. Change the server pack setting to "Disabled"

5. Rejoin the server to confirm the pack no longer downloads

Check Your Storage

Once disabled, the server will stop sending the pack files to your client. Any previously downloaded files remain on your system but won't be loaded. If you want to reclaim space, you can manually delete the server pack folder from your resource packs directory.

This is especially helpful on servers with large or frequently-updated packs, or when you simply prefer the vanilla look.
