Using Power Crystals and Tuning Difficulty

Power Crystals

Power Crystal is a registry item in this mod and is crafted through the mod's recipes. Treat it as the counterpart to the Heart Crystal line: where Heart Crystals build your survivability, Power Crystals are the item you craft and hold for the mod's scaling systems. Craft them at a crafting table using the shaped or shapeless recipes shown in your recipe book.

Difficulty and Config

The mod scales difficulty as you play, which is why your health total and healing matter. Difficulty behaviour is controlled through the mod's config file. Open the config to adjust how scaling responds — this is where you change the pace at which the world gets harder rather than editing anything in-game.

Commands

The mod registers commands for inspecting and adjusting its state. Run them from chat with the leading slash. Use them to check or change scaling values without leaving the world, which is faster than editing the config and reloading.

Practical Loop

1. Craft Power Crystals and Heart Crystals from your gathered materials.

2. Use Heart Crystals to raise maximum health.

3. Carry Bandages and a Medkit for healing.

4. Tune scaling through the config or commands when the difficulty outpaces your gear.
