How to Build Your First Dimension in RFTools Dimensions

Create the Dimension Tab

Start by crafting an Empty Dimension Tab. Place it in an Enscriber together with the dimlets you want to use. The Enscriber combines the tab with dimlets to produce a configured Dimension Tab. If you have no dimlets yet, you can still write a tab with only an Empty Dimension Tab — the resulting dimension will be random.

Power the Dimension Builder

Place a Dimension Builder and give it power. Insert the configured Dimension Tab into the Dimension Builder. The builder consumes energy to realize the dimension. Once complete, the tab becomes a realized Dimension Tab that you can use to travel.

Enter and Monitor

Use the realized tab to create a portal into your new dimension. Place a Dimension Monitor near the builder or portal to read status such as power, realization progress, and dimension information. If you want to change the dimension later, use a Dimension Editor on the realized tab to modify its properties.

Practical Tips

• Keep spare Empty Dimension Tabs; failed or unwanted dimensions can be recycled.
• Use a Phased Field Generator when exploring dangerous dimensions to avoid unwanted effects.
• Store realized tabs in a Knowledge Holder to keep track of what you have created.
