Gathering Dimlets with Absorbers and the Researcher
Absorbers Collect World Data
Absorbers scan the world around them and produce dimlets based on what they find. Place the absorber, give it power, and let it work.
- Block Absorber — yields Block Dimlets from nearby blocks.
- Biome Absorber — yields Biome Dimlets from the biome you are standing in.
- Fluid Absorber — yields Fluid Dimlets from nearby fluids.
- Structure Absorber — yields Structure Dimlets from structures it detects.
Turn Knowledge into Dimlets
Absorbers and other sources give you Lost Knowledge (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary). Feed that knowledge into the Researcher. The Researcher converts Lost Knowledge into usable dimlets and related components. Store finished dimlets in a Knowledge Holder so they are not lost.
Fill Empty Dimlets
Many dimlets start as empty forms — Empty Dimlet, Empty Biome Dimlet, Empty Block Dimlet, Empty Fluid Dimlet, Empty Structure Dimlet, Empty Terrain Dimlet, Empty Sky Dimlet, Empty Time Dimlet, Empty Feature Dimlet, Empty Tag Dimlet, Empty Attribute Dimlet, Empty Biome Category Dimlet, and Empty Biome Controller Dimlet. Use the Dimlet Workbench to combine and cycle dimlets, and to work empty dimlets into their filled versions. The Dimlet Workbench also handles the dimlet cycle recipes that swap one dimlet type for another.
