How to Use the Research Table in Relics
Placing and Opening the Research Table
Craft the Research Table, place it down, and interact with it to open the research interface. The table is the central station for turning raw materials into usable relic progress, so keep it somewhere you can return to often rather than treating it as a one-off craft.
Running Research
Insert the items the interface asks for and let the research process consume them. Each completed research step unlocks the next tier of what the table can produce, so work through the available options in order instead of skipping ahead. If an entry is greyed out, you are missing either the required input items or a prerequisite research step — check the earlier entries before assuming the table is broken.
Practical Loop
1. Gather the input items listed in the table's interface.
2. Place them into the correct slots and start the research.
3. Collect the output and immediately check whether it unlocks a new entry.
4. Repeat until the entries you want are available.
Keep a chest of common inputs next to the table so you are not running back and forth. Because research consumes items, batch your gathering before you sit down at the table — arriving with a full stack of inputs lets you push through several entries in one session instead of stopping after each one.
