How to Research and Rank Up at the Researching Table

Placing and Using the Table

Craft and place the Researching Table, then interact with it to open its interface. The table is how you convert raw materials into knowledge about relics. Feed it the items it asks for and it returns progress toward unlocking or improving relics.

Earning Relic Experience

Use the Relic Experience Bottle the same way you would a normal experience bottle — throw or drink it to gain relic experience. That experience is what pushes your rank up. Higher rank unlocks stronger relic behavior and access to more advanced relics.

Practical Loop

1. Gather duplicate or spare relic materials while exploring.

2. Bring them to the Researching Table and research them.

3. Bank Relic Experience Bottles and use them in batches when you want a rank jump.

4. Re-check your relics after ranking — abilities that were locked or weak may now be usable.

Notes

• The Researching Table has been removed from the mod in current builds. If you cannot craft it, rely on Relic Experience Bottle and normal gameplay to gain relic experience instead.
• Researching Table is still listed as a block, so older worlds may still contain placed ones.
• Leafy Ring is marked WIP — do not expect full research support for it.
