Fix Plants Not Changing Colors in Your World

Check Your Mod Setup

Recolored Plants depends entirely on Polytone to apply color changes. If your plants still look bright green or haven't adapted to biome colors, the issue is almost always a missing or disabled Polytone installation.

Verify Installation

1. Open your mod folder and confirm both mods are present

2. Check that neither mod is disabled in your mod manager

3. Ensure both mods are compatible with your Minecraft version

4. Restart your game completely after installing or updating

Test the Pack

Load a world and travel to a distinctly colored biome—deserts, swamps, or badlands work best. Stand in the biome and look at flowers or saplings. Their stems should noticeably differ from default green.

If plants still appear unchanged after confirming Polytone is active, try creating a new world. Existing worlds may need regeneration in new areas to apply the resource pack's colors to freshly generated chunks.
