Optimize Performance on Lower-End Hardware

Lower Shadow Quality

Open shader settings (Shift + O) and find shadow-related options. Reduce Shadow Resolution or Shadow Distance to decrease GPU load. ReasonableView is designed for medium hardware, but these tweaks help older systems maintain playable framerates.

Disable or Reduce Volumetric Effects

Locate Volumetric Clouds or Volumetric Lighting settings and lower their intensity or disable them entirely. These features add visual depth but consume more resources. Disabling them keeps the shader's clean aesthetic while freeing up performance.

Adjust Water Reflection Quality

Find water rendering options and reduce Reflection Resolution or disable Screen-Space Reflections. Water will still look clear and good, but with less computational overhead.

Monitor Frame Rate

Use F3 debug screen to watch FPS while adjusting. Make one change at a time so you know which setting impacts performance most. ReasonableView's balanced design means you can usually find a sweet spot without sacrificing too much visual quality.
