Set Up a High-Speed Cobblestone-to-Stone Production Line
Gather Materials
Collect or craft multiple blast furnaces—the more you have, the faster your output. You'll also need a reliable fuel source like coal, charcoal, or a lava bucket supply.
Build Your Production Chain
1. Place blast furnaces in a row, leaving space for input and output access.
2. Position a cobblestone source (like a generator or manual stack) above or beside the input slots.
3. Attach hoppers to the top of each blast furnace to feed cobblestone automatically.
4. Connect output hoppers below to collect finished smooth stone into a chest or sorting system.
5. Set up a fuel delivery system—hoppers from a fuel chest to each furnace's fuel slot work well.
Optimize for Speed
Since blast furnaces cook at double speed compared to regular ovens, you can process large stacks of cobblestone in minutes. Use multiple furnaces running in parallel to maximize throughput. If you're building a massive base, this setup will keep you supplied with smooth stone far faster than traditional smelting.
Monitor fuel levels regularly to avoid production gaps, especially if running many furnaces simultaneously.
