Understanding Compatibility

This mod adds new smelting options to blast furnaces without removing or changing vanilla ore processing. You can still smelt iron ore, gold ore, and other standard materials exactly as before—the mod simply expands what's possible.

Use Blast Furnaces for Both Tasks

1. Smelt ores like iron, gold, and copper using the same blast furnaces you use for building materials.

2. Cook cobblestone, sand, and wet sponges in the same setup without any conflicts.

3. All vanilla recipes retain their original cooking times and fuel efficiency.

Organize Your Smelting Network

Since blast furnaces now handle both ore and building materials, you can consolidate your smelting infrastructure. Separate furnaces by task if you prefer (one bank for ores, another for blocks), or mix them freely—the mod maintains full vanilla compatibility either way.

This flexibility means you won't need to maintain separate smelting areas or worry about recipe conflicts. Your existing ore smelting workflow continues unchanged while you gain access to faster building material production.
