Understand Block Group Distribution

The mod selects from 10 different block groups: wood, stone, wool, concrete, terracotta, nether blocks, end blocks, metals, and miscellaneous blocks. Each newly entered chunk randomly receives one group. This means you must explore multiple chunks to locate the material you need.

Search Systematically

Walk in a grid pattern or spiral outward from your base, entering new chunks methodically. Document which chunks contain which materials by placing markers or remembering landmarks. If you need metal blocks, you may need to cross several chunks before finding one from the metals group.

Adapt Your Strategy

Some materials (nether and end blocks) are rarer and may require extensive exploration. Don't waste time searching for specific rare blocks early on—focus on common groups like stone and wood first. Return to search for specialty materials once you have better tools and resources to travel farther.
