Make Shiba Inus Collect Torches from Other Mods

Understanding Shiba Inu Torch Collection

Shiba Inus—Quark's dog-like creatures—can now find and pick up torches added by other mods. This works automatically once the Compat Data Pack is installed alongside the main mod.

How It Works

Shiba Inus will wander and search for torches on the ground, including those from The Aether, Deep Aether, The Undergarden, Alex's Caves, and Infernal Expansion. They collect these torches into their inventory over time.

Retrieving Collected Torches

Interact with a Shiba Inu to open its inventory and see what torches it has gathered. Remove torches as needed. Shiba Inus will continue collecting until their inventory is full.

Placement Strategy

Place torches from different mods around your base or farm to encourage Shiba Inus to explore and collect them. This is useful for gathering decorative or functional torches without manual farming. The collection happens passively while the Shiba Inu roams.
